Everything about this day was a dream for me. Shannon and James are a beautiful pair. The love they have for each other was amazing to witness. My favorite thing about them was their adventurous spirits and the desire to adventure together.
Their day was perfectly encompassed by a quote they’ve loved for some time:
“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in,
where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.” -John Muir
So you can imagine my excitement when I walk in to see THE most
beautiful bride, her dress and her wedding day hiking boots!
They had thier family and closest friends travel all the way from Missouri to be part of their day.
It was such a special ceremony.
They passed the wedding rings around for each person to hold them in their hands, pause for a quick moment, and make well wishes of love and support for Shannon and James.
After the Elopement ceremony, Shannon and James hugged thier family and friends goodbye and we went to go take photos for an hour. No rush to get them done, just three of us that really wanted some amazing photos. Those are my kind of people! The only thing that rushed us was the amazing storm rolling in, and even that was cool!
The last photo was right before a downpour of rain that led to us running to our vehicles saying “Ok, bye! That was amazing! Thank you!” hahah. Right before it started raining we all agreed that would be our last location, so it the rain held off just for us, I know it!
Such beautiful moments after their Colorado Elopement
This was my first Rocky Mountain National Park Elopement in Colorado and now I’m hooked!
It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been and I recommend everyone experience it!
And if you can’t experience it soon, the instagram hashtag #RMNP will have to do. ENJOY!
